The Park is scheduled for major renovations in 2010. New pathways, lighting, landscaping and a shade pavilion will be added.

A wandering pathway and four new benches were added along the Kerr Street side in 2008.

In 2007, fencing was removed from the perimeter of the park. The fencing was so old that some of the surrounding trees grew with chain embedded in them.
