2. The suspect is believed to be operating a 2004 grey or silver 4 door Jaguar that could be parked on the street in the area.
3. The suspect may be walking the streets focusing on high-end executive homes. He may ring the door bell to see if anyone answers and may provide the story that he is in the construction or some other sort of trades field if confronted or spoken to.
4. If it appears that no one is home, the suspect will walk around to the rear of the residence and check for unlocked doors or windows. If successful in locating this, he will enter the home. Expensive jewellery and small electronics are sought by the suspect.
5. Police are requesting that if residents observe any of the above described situations to contact police immediately and report the suspicious circumstances, including licence plate numbers if possible.
6. Police are also asking residents to ensure that ALL doors are secure BEFORE leaving their residence.
7. Police further request that residents DO NOT confront or approach any person they believe to be involved in this activity. Make good observations and call police.

The Halton Regional Police are working diligently to resolve this issue and all uniform officers have been made aware of circumstances, and extra patrols will be occurring in this area.
