The goal for this year is to raise $30,000 to help the 5,000+ animals that turn to the Oakville & Milton Humane Society each year for help. Animals that are lost, homeless, neglected, injured or abused… some of the most vulnerable animals in Oakville & Milton need the help and care provided by the OMHS. A registered charity, the Oakville & Milton Humane Society receives no  funding from the government or any other animal welfare organization. The OMHS investigates and prosecutes, where necessary, animal abuse, cruelty and neglect; and shelters and finds loving forever homes for adoptable animals. It also teaches lessons in respect, compassion and responsible animal care through humane education…and much more!

This year the 5K Oakville Mutt Strutt will be led by Carrie Olver of The Weather Network. There is also a ½K stroll around Cornwall Road Park for older pets and families with young children. Walk registration will begin at 11am with both walks starting at noon.

After the 5K Mutt Strutt and the ½K Mutt Stroll, the Critters Gone Country Fall Fair will bring animal themed entertainment, a Kids Zone with games, a vendor marketplace with items for people and pets alike, yummy fall fair food, a fun dog show and silent auction to Cornwall Road Park making this a full day of family fun! The Critters Gone Country Fall Fair will take place from noon to 4 p.m. and you do not have to walk in the Oakville Mutt Strutt to enjoy the Fall Fair.

Cornwall Park is located at 425 Cornwall Road.
