Who We Are
WRRA’s mission is to advocate and protect residents’ community interests, keep residents informed, and organize neighbourhood social activities.
We are strong advocates for the neighbourhood with the Town of Oakville and local politicians.
We have regular communications to keep residents in touch with community news, concerns, outreach, and events.
We run year-round activities. These are funded primarily by support from our members.
– Membership is only $20 a year per household –
Board of Directors
The WRRA Board is composed of 12 members from the West River neighbourhood. The Board is elected annually in October at the Annual General Meeting.
The board is currently full. If you are interested in joining the board please contact Nicole LeBlanc or Tara Wilson to put your name forward for future consideration at firstname.lastname@example.org. The board consists of many diverse and experienced members of the community and strives to maintain a range of skills, experience, and diversity across age, ethnicity and gender.
